How to Install and Configure a WordPress Blog
By Dewald Pretorius | September 27, 2007
Installing and configuring a WordPress blog can be a daunting task when you’re new to WordPress.
It takes a long time to figure out what you need and what you must do. To help you save some time I wrote a mind map (with FreeMind) that leads you through the process one step at a time.
There are also links to recommended plugins to improve the on-page SEO of your blog, and other useful plugins as well.
You can download a PDF version of the mind map here. There are clickable links below the mind map graphic that will take you to the recommended WordPress plugin download pages, etc.
